CPU, as a non-stock, not-for-profit development non-government organisation which is officially recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission and as a respectable network of ICT professionals in the Philippines and recognized in the international community, issues certificate of recognition to its members. Also, we provide support to our members through the issuance of referral letters for the future endeavors of our members with the condition that this will not go against the vision and mission of the CPU.

What are the responsibilities of a CPU member?
The tasks and responsibilities of the member are based on the limited time that they can devote to the organization. Also, it is determined through their responses to the questions in the application form. Below is the discussion of the general responsibilities and tasks of a CPU member.
Attendance and participation to CPU Conferences
CPU organizes biannual members’ conference. The objectives of these conferences are:
- To provide exchange of technical knowledge among members;
- To provide a venue for members, volunteers and secretariat to know each other;
- To integrate members and volunteers in the planning and assessment stages of CPU;
- To update the membership and volunteers on organizations’ programs; and
- To discuss timely issues which CPU is concerned.
Direct Participation to CPU Programs
CPU members are encouraged to directly participate on various programs. A member is expected to share their skills through the following:
- As a resource speaker on various free and open source technology
- Participation in design, planning, implementation, deployment and assessement of different CPU programs.
- Facilitate gathering of logistics and resources for CPU programs.
- Other ways to advance ICT for the People.
